As part of our expanding International business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated :

PMO Senior Manager

You will ensure the successful delivery of projects within the organization. This role involves working with the business team in Nyon and the development teams in Pune, India and setting project management standards, providing training and mentoring, and ensuring compliance with best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Governance

  • Establish and maintain project management standards and methodologies.
  • Ensure projects comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, providing regular status reports to senior management.

Strategic Planning

  • Support the SVP Strategic Business Operations in the development and management of the PMO roadmap and strategy to align with the organization’s goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects and resource allocation.

Resource Management

  • Oversee the assignment and utilization of resources across projects they are responsible for.
  • Ensure optimal usage of team members and manage workload distribution.

Training and Mentoring

  • Provide training and development for project managers.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Performance Tracking

  • Implement tools and techniques to measure project performance and outcomes.
  • Analyse project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information flow across all project activities.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular project audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 plus years of experience in project management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and Jira.

Skills & Experience

  • Worked closely with technical people, understands their language and manages global technical projects.
  • Ability to work with and influence senior business leaders.
  • Managed multiple projects simultaneously and teams across different time zones.
  • Proficient in English and French, verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
