What does Master Internship@IBM CIC offer you?
Within the scope of the 2-3 year Master Internship@IBM CIC program, we offer valuable professional experience in Consulting, which you will gain in parallel to your studies. You can complete the master study course at a university (or university of applied sciences) of your choice. The duration of studies depends on the respective university and is between two and three years. The volume of work allows you to focus sufficiently on your master’s degree. Nevertheless, you can expect challenging assignments in a team-oriented and dynamic environment as well as many opportunities for active co-determination. You will also write your master’s thesis in collaboration with your department.
Who are we looking for?
For our Finance & Supply Chain practice within IBM’s Business Transformation Services, we are looking for highly motivated students with a strong interest in IT and project management. In addition to a good educational background in Information Technology or Business Management, an independent and proactive approach to work is also important to us. Are you action-oriented, highly motivated, and analytical? Do you possess good communication and presenting skills, with a focus on team collaboration and high social competence? What can you expect from this position?
In this role, you will work in cross-functional project teams to support the conception, planning, design, and implementation of IT processes and technical solutions focusing on finance and supply chain transformation – that means all end-to-end business processes you can find in any global corporation. The project portfolio ranges from consulting and implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft and Oracle, to Generative AI projects to agile project and program management tasks. You will have the opportunity to work with IT products from leading vendors, participate in customer workshops, and engage in consulting and advisory activities for clients. You will also support the sales process, analyze customer inquiries, and accompany customer meetings and contract negotiations.
