We are looking for a temporary Marketing Event Manger (m/w/d) 20-40% for our client in Glattbrugg.
As a temporary event manager, you are responsible for the organization of events. The main focus for this temporary position is the FluidFM conference that is being held at the end of October. In addition, you will be responsible for support in the organization of external events where the sales team exhibits our solutions (no travel required).
Tasks and responsibilities:
Your main responsibility is to take care of all aspects related to the FluidFM conferenceheld on the 29-30th of October 2024. During this event, you will be the main contact point for the communication:
- with external vendors (e.g. restaurant, event location, caterer, social activity) as well attendees leading up to and during the event
- for prospective attendees through promotion of the event, together with our social media specialist
- to the speakers, poster presenters and exhibitors
In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Decorations at the venue
- All print materials
- Ensure that all IT works well on-site
Responsibilities for support for other events include activities like:
- Administration: registration of company delegates, submission of company information to the event organization
- Booking of all required services, and furnishings for the exhibition
- Packing of all exhibition materials to take or ship to the event location
- Ordering sales materials such as flyers, goodies and scientific posters
- Supporting the sales team with promotion and outreach campaigns prior to the event
- Good organizational skills and ability to keep track of competing priorities
- First experience with organization of events
- Good with communication to different stakeholders
- Fluent in English, conversational in German
- Flexible availability throughout the week, available for the full day on Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th and Wednesday the 30th of October
