Managing Director, Insurance - Zurich
A large international insurance company is looking to hire an experienced and professionally qualified insurance practitioner for the role of managing director to oversee its Zurich office. The company provides insurance management services to international businesses.
This exceptional role will be to further develop the business and therefore requires a highly competent professional with excellent business development and client relationship skills. The opportunity to sit on the European Executive board to contribute to the development of the European growth strategy is also available. You will also be responsible for the line management of a small team of administrators. Experience of direct communications with regulatory bodies like FINMA is required.
To be eligible for this role you must have gained a minimum of 15 years experience in the European insurance management industry. Have a professionally recognised insurance or accountancy qualification. Possess a proven track record for developing an insurance business and its teams. English and German written and spoken is essential, another European language like Italian or French would be beneficial. The strategy of developing business will be to target international companies primarily in Switzerland and also surrounding countries like Liechtenstein and Germany.
The role will be based in Zurich with the option to work remotely. An excellent remuneration and benefits package is being offered.
