Join a Leading Pharmaceutical Company as a Logistics Specialist!
On behalf of our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company, Swisslinx is seeking a Logistics Specialist responsible for the full range of logistics tasks that ensure goods and materials are efficiently and properly processed, stored and prepared for shipment.
Location: Visp, Switzerland
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 12 months (with the possibility of extension)
Your mission:
â?¢ Material delivery and incoming goods inspection
â?¢ Checking material deliveries in terms of quality and quantity to ensure that requirements are met.
â?¢ Carrying out incoming goods postings in the SAP system to document and track incoming goods.
â?¢ Storage and management of stocks
â?¢ Storing and retrieving goods in central storage areas, both in fully automated and manual warehouses.
â?¢ Operating and monitoring automated warehouse machines and complex conveyor technology.
â?¢ Picking and preparing goods for dispatch
â?¢ Picking goods according to specifications to fulfill orders.
â?¢ Labelling and preparing items for shipping to ensure smooth onward transport.
â?¢ Documentation and traceability
â?¢ Archiving of all necessary documents to ensure complete traceability of all goods transactions.
â?¢ Customer service
â?¢ Competent contact person for internal customers for questions regarding stock levels, shipping status and other logistical concerns.
Your background:
â?¢ Fluency in German (knowledge of English an advantage).
â?¢ SUVA-recognized training for industrial trucks of categories R1 and R2 (required).
â?¢ Experience in logistics of 2-3 years, ideally in dealing with SAP and automated warehouse systems.
