Legal Assistant
On behalf of our client, a leading international agricultural science and technology company based in Canton Aargau, Swisslinx is looking for a Legal Assistant to be part of a special project in the IPO home country pos department.

Workload: 100%
Work type: Contract
Duration: 2 years
Your mission:
â?¢ Liaise with the outsourced Patent and Trademark recordal provider.
â?¢ Provide required documentation for entity merger and address changes (e.g., copies of certificates, evidence of use, powers of attorney, commercial register extracts, etc.) under
supervision.
â?¢ Verify merger and address change invoices against vendor agreed fees in the legal e-billing system.
â?¢ Prepare Trademark/Patent assignments and changes of name and address.
â?¢ Archive paper and electronic files, particularly Patent and Trademark assignments and changes of name/address.
â?¢ Organize signatures and notarization/legalization of Patent and Trademark-related documents.
â?¢ Organize TNT shipping.
â?¢ Perform general administrative and secretarial work in support of the team.
Your background:
â?¢ Prior legal knowledge, preferably in IP (e.g., experience in a legal department, law firm, or notary office).
â?¢ Good general school education to commercial diploma or Matura level.
â?¢ Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
â?¢ Basic knowledge of German is a plus.
â?¢ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
â?¢ Attention to detail, thoroughness, and meticulousness are essential.
