We are seeking a highly motivated Learning and Development Designer and Content Creator. In that role you will be responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs tailored for our risk consultants, analysts and engineers, specifically focusing on technical risk engineering aspects.
This role involves creating engaging and effective learning content, utilizing a variety of instructional design methodologies, and ensuring the training materials are aligned with industry standards and organizational goals. The individual will collaborate with subject matter experts from our various technical centers, stakeholders, and other team members to identify training needs and develop solutions that enhance the technical competencies of employees.
What you will do
Design and develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructional videos, job aids, and other training resources.
Together with our consulting practice leaders conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and determine learning objectives.
Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
Apply instructional design principles and methodologies to create effective training programs that meet the needs of technical engineering professionals.
Upload and manage training materials on the Learning Management System (LMS), track learner progress, and generate reports.
Review and revise training materials to ensure they are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
Assist in coordinating training projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communicating with stakeholders.
Collect feedback from learners and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
What you bring
A bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, technical engineering, or a related field.
1-2 years+ of experience in instructional design, content creation, or a related role, preferably within a technical engineering or consulting industry.
Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), multimedia design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
First experience gained in developing content with AI as well as VR.
