Lead UX Designer (m/w)
Location: Zurich, hybrid (up to 2 days)

Your tasks:
Push the User Experience of our products forward and establish and grow the Design Systems and Design Principles.
Work with the agile product team to maintain consistency and coherence across all our products.
Take ownership, maintain and continuously improve our FAs MD 3 Library ensuring its scalability and consistency across our products.
Ensure design components are accessible, adhering to WCAG, ADA and EAA standards.
Lead user research, usability testing and in general advocating for the user and taking responsibility for creating a positive user experience.
Develop digital strategies for the products and services and driving them forward.
Establish and implement the Software Development Policies (FSDP) for Development, Testing, UX/UI and DevOps across our products.
Guide and support agile product teams to ensure adherence to the FSDP.
Responsible for the quality and design approach taken by the agile product teams for our products.
Responsible for the strategic direction and coordination of software development with a specific regard to UX/UI design.
Advise internal stakeholders on any UX/UI design related matter.
Continuously report to management on product stability and quality.
Monitor agile product teams’ performance and identify and mitigate risks with appropriate measures.
Manage budget, suppliers and contracts for software development.
Promote collaboration and coordinate activities for software development across all competence centres: Development, Testing, UX/UI and DevOps.
Your profile:
The specific competencies we require for this position are:
4-5 years experience in web and/or software environment in a similar role (Senior UX designer, Senior Information Architect, etc.)
Proficient in Figma, common design and collaboration tools
Proficiency in Material Design and design systems
Deep understanding of accessibility guidelines and laws (ADA & EAA)
Familiarity with legal compliance in design
Knowledge of UI trends and best practices and technical implementation
Experience in leading design teams in an agile environment (leading remote and external design teams is a plus)
Experience building and maintaining a design system
A portfolio demonstrating user-centred design approach, problem solving skills and attention to detail, User research is a plus
University degree or similar higher education in an UX-related field (Human-computer interaction, Human factors, Communication Design, Product Design, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership communication skills
Open minded and eager to work in a diverse and fast changing environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
