Junior Risk Officer

Position:

Do you have 1 or 2 years' banking experience ideally from business risk or "front" compliance or equivalent? This job as Junior Control Cross Border Associate could be a real chance to consolidate on that experience and take your career to the next level! You should also be familiar with Swiss private banking cross border issues as regards front office and be happy in a risk and control function. A Swiss private bank passionate about enhancing the effectiveness of its cross border control framework. In essence, this role is supporting the Bank's second line of defense through regular monitoring, control activities, and risk assessments. Would suit those coming from business risk, front compliance or equivalent at a junior level. The position could be based either out of our Client's Geneva or Zurich office (no home office).

Responsibilities, to include, but not limited to:

- Define, execute, and maintain Cross border controls, focusing on client documentation

- Conduct Cross border compliance reviews and coordinate activities across international locations

- Act as the point of contact for the first line of defense on Cross border matters

- Prepare analyses and management reports, and support audit requests

Profile:

- Bachelors Degree - Finance, Law or Business Administration for example; those with equivalent apprenticeship or banking education also considered

- 1-2 years+ of experience in Cross-border Banking, Front Compliance or Business Risk preferred

- Swiss Banking experience a must - control or risk function at a junior level

- Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented, and excellent communicator

- Excellent communication and presentation skills (at ease with Front Office)

- Fluent in English

- Happy to work in the office, full-time (no home working) - job can be based in either our Client's Geneva or Zurich office
