For the support of our department within the Depositary Bank / Investment Compliance in Zurich we are looking for a Junior Investment Compliance Analyst / Depositary Bank Control.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Junior Investment Compliance Analyst you will

• Support in analysis and interpretation of fund contracts and investment guidelines
• Support for implementation of new products, fund regulations &investment guidelines within the investment compliance application
• Help within the internal project for change to new strategical solution.
• Support of the Investment Compliance reporting team
• Participate in projects related to investment compliance/new products.
• Documentate rules & guidelines for audit purposes
• Independent execute basic & advanced responsibilities of a compliance analyst in the investment compliance environment
• Support of other depositary bank related controls such as safekeeping of assets, dividend distributions, expense payments, etc.
• Support the oversight of our outsourcing providers and related governance documentation (e.g. Risk Assessments, SLAs, etc.)
• Support the depositary bank team also in related topics such as representative and paying agent business and KYC/AML processes

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial apprenticeship with minimum 1 year working experience in fund compliance or education within financial industry (for example AZEK/CAIA)
• Experience in a custodian bank or/and in portfolio compliance, investment controlling, risk- or asset management.
• Good understanding of the general investment environment, different investment instruments and markets.
• IT affinity
• Coding skills (VBA, SQL, Python), Charles River (CRD) compliance is of advantage.
• Knowledge in the Swiss legal and regulatory environment (KAG/KKV/KKV-FINMA/BVV2)
• Fluent in German (written and spoken) and advanced knowledge of English
