Junior Esport Coordinator (Geneva - Switzerland)
Join the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Esports in a dynamic and international environment. As the Junior Esports Coordinator, you will support the FIA's Esports team within the Circuit Sport Department by managing a variety of operational and administrative tasks. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to prestigious events such as the Olympic Esports Games and the FIA Motorsport Games while collaborating with passionate, multicultural teams.
Reporting to the Esports Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include the coordination and execution of Esports events, as well as supporting the FIA's Esports-related activities and administrative tasks.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Event Management and Coordination
- Plan event structures, competition systems, and oversee stakeholder relationships for Esports events, including the Olympic Esports Games and FIA Motorsport Games
- Assist in managing relationships with external stakeholders such as partners, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution
- Collaborate with venues, partners, and vendors to fulfill all logistical and operational needs
- Draft and maintain essential documents, including event timelines, schedules, and checklists
2. Technical and Operational Support
- Work closely with IT and technical teams to ensure gaming equipment, network setups, and technical requirements are fully prepared for events
- Support on-site troubleshooting for technical issues affecting gameplay, broadcasting, or other event components
- Support technical and operational needs during events to ensure a smooth experience for participants and audiences
3. Administrative Support
- Assist in the organization and administration of FIA Esports Commission meetings, including drafting agendas, sending invites, setting up meeting platforms (Zoom, room bookings), and taking minutes
- Respond to Esports-related queries and requests from FIA Member Clubs in a professional and timely manner
PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Maximum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in Esports event operations (mandatory), ideally combined with:
- A strong interest in motorsport
- Hands-on experience in simracing
- Experience in Esports/gaming commercial and/or communications (a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); additional software skills are a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to adhere to deadlines with a strong sense of punctuality
- Capacity to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
- Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
