For our Headquarter based in Montreux we are currently looking for an :

We are looking for an IT Junior Developer at Swiss Education Group who will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of company solutions and applications.

The Junior Developer will be an integral part of the solution team, actively contributing towards the development of our tools, services and platforms. As such, he or she will work with different departments on a variety of solutions, applications and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in the design, coding, configuration and testing of company solutions and applications.
• Assits in the implementation and maintenance of company solutions and applications.
• Analyse and solve technical and application problems.
• Develop, test, and improve integration between various applications.
• Provide support to business users and the IT support team.
• Occasionally perform installation or upgrade tasks.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor degree or apprenticeship in IT.
• 1-2 years’ programming experience or developing IT solutions.
• Experience with database applications: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.
• Working knowledge of FileMaker a strong asset
• Experience in application integration using REST API’s
• Working knowledge in development languages, such as Java, .NET, Python, etc
• Working knowledge of ASP .NET Core API & MVC a plus
• Experience in an academic Familiarity environment a plus.

Skills :

• Fluent in French or English and good working knowledge of the other language
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Customer service focus
