January 2025: Live-in Housekeeper, Cooking Abilities, Driver - English or French
A British couple is seeking a dedicated, mature, experienced live-in housekeeper with cooking abilities to join them at the beginning of 2025.
Location: Vesenaz, Geneva
Start Date: January 2025 - The interviews will start in September.
Schedule: Starting at 9:30 AM after breakfast. 1.5 days off or two days a week, flexible on both sides.
- Perform housework and shopping, and prepare a light lunch (usually not cooked).
- Time off after lunch until the evening meal preparation.
- Dinner is served at 8:30 pm. Clearing up the kitchen.
General duties:
- Full housekeeping responsibilities
- Laundry and ironing
- Meal preparation
- Grocery shopping and running errands
Additional information: Not travelling is required. No pets at home.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss/EU Passport or Swiss permit)
- Written letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can verify
- Mature and experienced
- Pleasant, private, quiet, clean, efficient and very discreet.
- Good and healthy cooking skills
- Good skills at ironing
- Non-smoker
- Be willing to be flexible as to time
- Proficient English or French (The couple speaks both languages)
- A confident driver with or without a car is required
- Available to work live-in and start in January 2025.

- Long-term contract
- Market rate salary in Geneva. For live-in positions there is a monthly CHF 990 deduction per month for accommodation and food.
- Large room with light well, room for table and sofa, private bathroom, separate kitchen. Separate entrance and privacy.
