As an FP&A Intern you will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team. Your role involves assisting with data collection, consolidation and analysis as well as supporting team members in their day-to-day activities. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of financial operations, analysis and reporting.
What you will explore:
- Support the implementation of a cost centre based budget planning process by gathering data from various departments, updating models and conducting financial analysis including variance analysis, trend analysis, ratio analysis and assessing financial performance.
- Assist in updating and maintaining financial databases, spreadsheets and reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Helping to create and run cost analysis reports in our new ERP system (MS Dynamics 365).
- Participate in Cost Management activities: monitor and analyse costs and expenses, identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange information and coordinate activities.
- Ad-hoc support for international corporate tax projects in the Group Tax department.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information in accordance with company policies, procedures and compliance standards.
- Learn and utilize financial software systems, tools, and applications to perform tasks and analyse data effectively.
What you will need:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an attention to details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and impact key stakeholders effectively.
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in all work-related activities.
