Roche Diagnostics Core Labs (CL) Customer Area (CA) provides integrated Cobas branded solutions for fluid testing in commercial and hospital labs, medical centers and laboratory networks. Our products and solutions support health care professionals in clinical decision making in a wide field of indications including cardiometabolic, immunology, neurology, and oncology indications. In our CL CA we are looking for a Temporary Contractor International Product Manager role for Global Product Management PHCS for our Life Cycle Team (LCT) Personalised Healthcare Solutions. This temporary role is initially 2 years plus 1 year, with the possibility to extend.
The primary purpose of this individual contributor Temporary Contractor International Product Manager role is to support the development of High Medical Value products with in-depth market & customer insights, as well as to support the commercialization of our launched products with our country organisations and pharmaceuticals partners.

The perfect candidate has a degree in science or medicine and more than 5 years of experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry. The person is skilled in gathering customer insights for defining product characteristics and their strategy. Lastly, the candidate communicates excellently in English and brings a good understanding of the development process for In Vitro Diagnostics products.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Engagement with our pharmaceutical partners and key diagnostics markets to ensure our products meet market and customer needs
  • Collaboration with a range of internal stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Clinical Science, Business Development, R&D) as well as other business teams to ensure broader alignment on the current and future needs of our customers
  • Oversight of the IVD development process to ensure decisions are made in the best interests of patients and customers
  • Support for our country organizations with product messaging and content around our key innovations and collaborations
  • Strategic alignment with our pharmaceutical partners and Diagnostics stakeholders to navigate barriers to our respective diagnostic and therapeutic launches
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to the needs of our Pharmaceuticals customers, willing to try new approaches to develop our solutions, challenge the status quo. Teamwork and collaboration is key
Must Haves:
  • Minimum 5 years' experiences in marketing, business development, partnering or related business experience, in local & global roles, across Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics (*****)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Science/medicine or related field (*****)
  • Gathering customer insights (Pharmaceutical stakeholders, clinicians, laboratory experts) for defining product characteristics & strategy (*****)
  • Good understanding of the development process for In Vitro Diagnostics products, additional experience with pharmaceuticals development ideal (*****)
  • Self -starter, passionate about Personalized Healthcare
  • Experience within a complex matrix environment with diverse colleagues/ functions, confident in interactions with senior leadership in Diagnostics and with our Pharmaceuticals partners as well as the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve results
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English language)
