Housekeeper in Meinier (36 hours/week) - Starting in July 2023
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join a wonderful family in Meinier. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Contract : Long-term
Working Hours: The work schedule is 36 hours per week. The housekeeper will be expected to work 6 days per week, with each day consisting of 6 hours. The specific work hours will be determined in collaboration with the family.
Language : English. Lebanese is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including but not limited to cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all areas of the residence.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other assigned spaces in accordance with the family's preferences and standards.
- Handle laundry tasks, such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes and linens. The candidate must be very competent in this field.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of household appliances, furniture, and fixtures.
- Organize and declutter rooms, closets, and storage areas on a regular basis.
- EU passport, Swiss passport or Swiss work permit.
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, with a strong background in maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices, including proper handling of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to details.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Good communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Discretion and respect for the privacy of the family and their home.
Salary according to experience.
