In-House Counsel

To strengthen our Legal Department, we are looking for an :

IN-HOUSE COUNSEL

Based in our Headquarters in Switzerland, the successful candidate will enjoy a large variety of legal work.

ROLE

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of legal and commercial documents.
• Providing legal advice in connection with new and existing commercial activities of one of the group’s business unit.
• Providing legal support and advice to the company’s support functions, notably HR.
• Exercising initiative in solving challenges and accomplishing business objectives.
• Performs other responsibilities and special projects to support the Legal department’s objectives.

PROFILE

Requirements:


• Master of Law degree from a Swiss University and admission to the Swiss Bar.
• A least 4 years of relevant experience preferably acquired in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international company.
• Business acumen and sound knowledge of commercial law, notably of sale & purchase agreements, service agreements, joint development, and other types of collaboration agreements.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience in servicing customers and ability to manage the legal aspects of complex international contracts successfully and independently.
• LL.M or other postgraduate education and/or work experience would be considered as an advantage but are not a prerequisite.

Languages:


• Fluency in French and English required.
• Command of German or Spanish a plus.
