We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced professional having worked in a global role who can own and drive the further development of our risk consulting and risk engineering capabilities across all our geographies.
As part of our Global Resilience Academy, the role will involve the further strategic development of learning and development formats, content and solutions for our consultants, engineers and analysts.
You would be responsible for the strategy, creation and execution of the global curriculums, based on critical future capabilities needed to complete our growth strategy for Zurich Resilience Solutions business unit.
You are partnering with leaders from other internal academies as well as on all levels with our local ZRS country teams and HR functions.
What you will do
- Researches industry best practices / trends and participates in external organizations – identify the skills and capabilities of the risk consultant / risk engineer of the future
- Drives the design and development of the global learning & development curriculum / content for Zurich aligned with business direction and priorities
- Leads the execution and roll out of the global Resilience Solutions L&D curriculums across the entire ZRS community, through strong partnering with respective global and local leaders, teams and other internal academies as well as Universities.
- Demonstrates measurable outcomes including key metrics to show tangible efficiency and effectiveness benefits
- Be an active member of the community of practise of L&D professionals across Zurich
What you bring
- Strategic thinker – sets big picture and anticipates future trends and consequences creating competitive proposition for learning design for a professional service business.
- Experience of learning curriculum design and creative / innovative thinking combined with a passion for education, training and development
- Experience in leading change and transformation at scale, complemented by experience in business consulting
- Experience of working with businesses or functions on learning curriculum design / delivery
- Has demonstrated ability to align design of skills and competency requirements with broader business objectives and needs
- Strong track record of cross functional and interpersonal / collaboration skills, also outside the own organisation, and the ability to demonstrate history of supporting a team dedicated to professional excellence
- Strong execution and track record of delivery
- Any qualification in the L&D space (e.g. instructional design) is preferred
