Head of Fit-Out Delivery
Location- Can be based anywhere in Europe
Job Purpose
The Head of Delivery is a critical role within the Fit-Out team and IWG. The role is responsible for managing the process and ensuring we are opening the 1000+ centres a year we have in our pipeline. They will be responsible for managing the team of Project Managers who deliver the centre. These Project Managers have a joint reporting line into the Head of Delivery and the Country Manager. They will also look for opportunities to improve the Fit-Out process, accelerate the opening times and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the IWG Fit-Out delivery team are following our global processes to open all centres
- Improve and run the Performance Management process for our Project Managers in parallel with Country Management
- Refine the Quality Assurance process and determine the best resources to deliver this
- Manage reporting on all centre openings to ensure the business understands volume, speed and cost by region
- Own and drive improvement in the end to end Fit-Out process
- Ensure all local teams are adhering to the Fit-Out process
- Resolve issues with Country leadership around openings in market
- Implement new concepts and initiatives into the centre opening process
- Provide feedback to the procurement teams on costs in market and highlight challenges
- Establish the refurbishment process for all centres and ensure it is being applied globally
- Track cost information in markets and identify priorities for cost reduction exercises
Experience / required skills:
- Experienced Project Director used to managing a large portfolio of projects
- Experience in leading teams
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of the construction process and opportunities to improve
- Proven ability to enhance and improve processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills to engage with senior stakeholders in the business
- Ability to work cross-functionally across the organisation
- Fluent knowledge of the English language
