Who you are
You have a passion for home furnishings and retail, and you're driven to improve life at home for many people. You're eager to find innovative solutions, are learning-oriented, and tackle challenges with optimism and confidence.
As a young, aspiring retail leader, you aim to exceed goals together with others and continuously seek new opportunities to meet customer needs.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit, taking responsibility and making decisions without fear of failure. You prioritize our customers and embody IKEA’s values, with a proven desire to take on more complex challenges.
Your Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Include:
- Limited leadership experience – you have maximum one year experience in leading teams/others. Previous experience from retail environment is beneficial or you just might come directly from school.
- Interest in business process improvement
- Moving your limits to deliver more than what is expected
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
- Full mobility within our region (Czech Rep./Hungary/Slovakia
What you'll be doing day to day
Are you ready to become a future retail leader? Our development program offers you the chance to work with experienced managers and contribute to achieving store goals. You’ll have clear responsibilities defined by the position you’ll hold and clear personal development plan towards managerial position within 24 months in one of our units.
Year 1: Start in a co-worker role and progress to Team Leader/Department Head with job assignment developing your retail skills
Year 2: Continue as a Department Head/Deputy Manager, with project assignments focusing on current business challenges.
Year 3: Ready to take over the role of unit management team member!
This program is the beginning of what could be the best job in the world! You can speed up your development and become retail leader within CZHUSK region even faster, everything is up to you!
