Our client is a global manufacturing business headquartered in the Zurich region, which is looking to strengthen the controlling team for one of its business divisions, turning over ca. CHF 250 Mio. The person will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the financial performance of the business division and act as a sparring partner to the Head of Sales and the Regional Sales Heads across the globe.
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ihre Aufgaben
  • Support strategic decision-making with accurate and timely financial projections as well as communicate financial performance and insights to stakeholders effectively
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations by analysing sales performance and financial data
  • Monitor KPIs and track progress to ensure targets are met
  • Develop and manage budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with sales and controlling teams
  • Implement cost control measures and identify cost drivers to optimize profitability
  • Oversee inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain teams to reduce costs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the business division
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Align strategies and achieve business objectives by working closely with sales, marketing, finance and operations teams
Ihr Profil
  • University degree (University or FH) with a focus in finance or controlling
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business partnering controlling function (i.e. financial analysis, sales controlling, or a similar role) in the industrial production or industrial services sector
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent MS Office (specifically Excel) as well as SAP skills
  • Business fluent English – German is advantageous 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Deadline & business driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
