Project: For our customer a large pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for Global Quality Manager Distribution Quality (m/f/d).
Background: The Quality & Compliance Administration department is looking for a Global Quality Manager in Distribution Quality. Together with the team, you will gain global visibility and increased understanding of the E2E Supply Chain activities through:
• Serving as a Single Quality Point of Contact on behalf of Pharma Technical Operations concerning logistics matters for drug substance and drug product distribution within Clinical and Commercial Global Supply Chain
• Influencing and ingraining a high-quality standard at all levels of the supply chain and distribution operations.
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an appropriate level of quality oversight is maintained. This includes being a single point of contact to approximately 65 Affiliates and approximately 150 3rd Party Customers for Quality related commercial distribution topics as well as 23 Clinical Depots and over 10,000 clinical investigator sites for any topics related to temperature deviations.
• Acting as a key quality counterpart to Global Supply Chain and distribution, supporting in daily business activities eg performing the Quality role or assisting in complaint management, discrepancy handling and change control.
• You will learn new ways of working with self-managed teams in an agile environment.
Perfect candidate. The perfect candidate holds a bachelor's degree within life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, physics or engineering. The candidate should have 2 years of working experience in Quality Assurance/Management within the Pharmaceutical, Food or Supply industry as well as a solid understanding of GMP and GDP practices.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Manage GDP non-conformities or logistics related events (eg Temperature Monitoring issue, Damages, etc.) and provide timely quality impact assessments, Expert Opinions & Expert Statements, concerning the affected commercial and clinical products.
• Maintain compliance and ensure adherence to company's PQS requirements both internally and at our Global contracted services. (eg revise/maintain local SOPs, QAG etc)
• Support Logistics quality aspects for ongoing Global projects and initiatives (eg Air2Sea, Shipping Qualification, Sustainability Goal "Net 0").
Must Haves:
• Bachelor in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, physics or engineering.
• 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Management within Pharmaceutical, Food or Supply industry
• Sound knowledge of current international Good Distribution/Manufacturing Practices.
• Highly competent in MS office or Google Suite applications.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
• Fluency in oral and written English is a must.
• Motivated to work in an agile environment, highly flexible and proactive.
• Ability to quickly understand and learn new IT systems (eg Document management system, discrepancy management system etc.)
• Proven teamwork skills with regards to building strong relationships, effective communication and conflict management, finding workable compromises, etc.
Nice to Have:
• Experience in Quality Assurance/Management is an asset.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Basic knowledge in Veeva
• German language skills
