The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) Global MSAT & Engineering function is taking bold steps to modernize technical operations. This position is responsible for introducing and implementing innovative, efficient, and sustainable technical solutions (incl. technology) to deliver robust manufacturing processes and distribution of healthy products for future-ready PT across product lifecycle.
The global MSAT Scientific Expert provides technical leadership and implements solutions across the Pharma drug product manufacturing network.
Lead and drive technology and process initiatives that deliver forward looking capabilities (incl. automation / robotics)
Lead and drive identification (scout) of innovative, sustainable, efficient manufacturing to enable delivery of the current and future product portfolio
Lead and drive concept, pilot, and scaling of new technologies by evaluating feasibility, scalability, and implementation readiness
Contribute and lead matrix network teams consist of engineers and scientists to deliver aligned network technical solutions
Understand and translate PT network manufacturing
Partner with partner functions and senior experts for the technology implementation
Acknowledged expert in many areas of manufacturing technology / engineering / automation and standardization
An advanced degree in life sciences or engineering and several years of experience in the biologics drug product industry, specializing in aseptic filling process development and/or manufacturing process validation. Knowledge of delivery devices for medicinal products and external sterilization processes is desired.
Previous matrix leadership, cross-functional team leadership, and/or people management experience
Proven advanced data analytics skills and reporting capabilities of manufacturing process data
Effective communicator skill with solid written, oral and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate and negotiate solutions in a matrix environment, interacting at various functional levels and capacity to deal with ambiguity and complexity skillfully and can effectively influence others across all levels of the organization
