Location: Basel, Switzerland
Working Model: On-site 3 days per week
Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the global Demand and Supply planning process for assigned product lines, ensuring a seamless supply chain to affiliates and distributors worldwide.
- Analyze and validate sales forecasts across the EU and manage net requirements for affiliates and distributors outside the EU.
- Oversee procurement and capacity planning with external suppliers for finished goods, drug products, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).
- Handle end-to-end purchase order management, including order placement, follow-ups, and prioritization.
- Manage supply-side aspects of production transfers, whether full-scale or partial, between current and future suppliers.
- Optimize and implement Multi-Country SKU portfolios to streamline operations.
- Coordinate artwork changes with external artwork management suppliers.
- Ensure timely replenishment of the global Hub Warehouse to meet market demands.
- Support the Global Head of Supply Chain in establishing global S&OP/IBP processes.
- Monitor and manage KPIs such as out-of-stock situations, on-time delivery (OTIF), supply costs, inventory levels, and the timely execution of product launches and production transfers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibilities within the pharmaceutical or consumer health sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and comfortable taking ownership in a developing supply chain environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to balance detailed operational tasks with broader conceptual work.
- Experience working effectively in remote teams.
- Proficiency in English is essential, with additional skills in French or Italian being advantageous.
- Expertise in SAP S4/Hana (MM, SD, Planning) and advanced MS Excel skills are required. Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is a plus.
Collaboration: You will work closely with various departments including Markets, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, QA/QC, Customer Service/Logistics, and Corporate Supply Chain functions. Additionally, you will liaise with external suppliers and transport providers to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
