About us:
Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers who want to completely revolutionize air travel within the next decade. We combine computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to develop full “level-5” autonomy for flying vehicles.
Your role:
You will be the first Daedalean engineer based in the US, giving you space to make an impact and laying foundations for both your future team as well as our SDK. Your contribution will let Daedalean customers run their neural networks on our Daedalean Tensor Accelerator, the first High-Performance Avionics Certifiable CNN Accelerator.
\nYou are smart, get stuff done and:- Have a strong understanding of all things low-level - optimisation, architecture, FPGAs. The more of it, the better,
- Know how to optimize models thanks to previous exposure to Machine Learning and/or Deep Learning in an industry or academic context,
- You are comfortable contributing in a hands-on manner as well as leading the team, and welcome the possibility to work directly with customers, fine-tuning products to the market needs.
Previous experience with general or commercial aviation, e.g. flying for fun or profit, is a plus but experience in aerospace engineering or avionics is not required; we will teach you everything you need to know about the constraints of safety critical systems in airworthy applications.
