Full-Time Housekeeper for a Family in Zurich
Location: City Center, Zurich (conveniently located near Zurich HB)
Start Date: Trial period beginning August 19, with potential permanent hire by early September
Working Hours: 40-45 hours per week.
9:30am – 6:30pm, Monday – Friday
Job Overview: A family residing in the city center of Zurich is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeper to support their household needs. The role involves a combination of cleaning, cooking, and general household management. The ideal candidate will be experienced in maintaining busy households and possess strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping all spaces in the home tidy and in order throughout the day;
- Cleaning the home for overall cleanliness and disinfection;
- Laundry and ironing, occasional mending;
- Cooking for family;
- Maintaining the kitchen, pantry, and food supplies;
- Child minding, assist with drop of / pick up of children;
- Coordinating home maintenance (managing appointments, restocking supplies, etc.) and
- work conducted by outside vendors;
- Assisting with household errands;
- Assisting with care of dog (we anticipate adopting in next 6 months);
- Occasional travel, upon request, and
- Parking our vehicle and taking it to be washed (preferred but not mandatory)
Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a dynamic approach to household management. This role requires collaboration with a stay-at-home mother to ensure the seamless operation of the household. - Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required to facilitate clear communication.
- Child-Friendly: Experience or comfort with children is highly desirable.

- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and effective task prioritization.
- Desirable Attributes: A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel with the family are considered beneficial but not mandatory.

Holidays : 4 weeks per year (taken at convenient time for employer)
