Your role

As temporary Financial Market Regulations Reporting Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are an independently working and highly accurate reporting specialist who is looking to support the Bank's Financial Markets Infrastructure Reporting Team with the daily reporting tasks under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and provide temporary service to the Bank's Financial Markets Infrastructure Competence Center.

Your responsibilities
  • Support the team in performing the daily regulatory transaction reporting duties under the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR)
  • Analyze and investigate errors and collaborate with colleagues across the Bank (Front Units, Trading, Legal and Compliance, Operations and IT) for an efficient issue solving process
  • Assist the FMI team in related change projects and initiatives, by keeping track of reoccurring issues and testing of new technical solutions
  • Proactively propose efficiency improvements to existing reporting processes
Your profile
  • University degree in the area of Finance, Business or Computer Science or completed commercial apprenticeship
  • First relevant work experience in regulatory reporting and industry specific knowledge is required 
  • Basic knowledge in the area of derivatives is an advantage 
  • Ability to weight problems and set priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with various stakeholder as well as capability to work independently
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Fluency in English
