Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 7 to 10 years relevant experience with at least 2 to 3 years in external audit is a must
• Strong fundamental knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards and principles of governance, risks, and controls is a must
• Experience in preparation of group consolidation financial statements under IFRS, with both foreign subsidiaries and JVs.
• Familiar with economic, financial models and governance topics
• Ability to communicate well in verbal and written form, with both internal/external stakeholders.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team. Possess a sense of urgency, take initiatives, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Exhibit proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to perform financial analysis and prepare presentations. Advanced Excel skills is a must.
• English proficiency required, ideally if speak a regional language fluently
• Be open to travel when necessary

Aktivitäten

• Responsible for full spectrum of financial accounting, tax, statutory and other reporting for DG Business in Vietnam, Philippines, India and Malaysia.
• Review and approve accounting entries prepared by overseas accountants
• Review and approve monthly end reporting submitted by accountants
• Review of tax filings and returns (e.g. withholding tax, VAT, annual tax returns etc) for above countries
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities monthly and report to financial controller
• Responsible for above countries’ year-end audit
• Ensure inter-company and intra-group transactions are booked and reconciled timely for above countries
• To back up overseas accountants during their annual leave or other leaves
• Ensure above countries’ regulatory and statutory reporting is prepared and submitted on time
• To be the super user of the Microsoft Dynamic BC System
• Support DG APAC business team on finance related matters in above countries
• Monitor group finance governance compliance for above counties
• Involve and support regional finance projects and initiatives e.g. New BC core module roll out
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments management may request from time to time
