Stellenbeschreibung:

Als Mitarbeiter im Team «Mechatronics & Sensors» arbeiten sie in Baden/Schweiz bei der Entwicklung von elektrischen und mechatronischen Komponenten mit, welche in Turbolader-Anwendungen zum Einsatz kommen.

Sie rapportieren an den Leiter Mechatronik und Sensorik und tragen zur Entwicklung und Pflege des Produktportfolios bei.

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Entwicklung, Spezifikation und Qualifikation von mechatronischen Komponenten mit Fokus auf Regelungselementen für Turbomaschinen inkl. Software

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit externen Lieferanten, Entwicklung- und Fertigungspartnern

• Backoffice-Unterstützung bei der Inbetriebnahme von Steuergeräten im Feld.

• Überwachung von Technologieentwicklungen und Identifizierung von Technologietreibern für F&E Projekte

• Teilnahme in Arbeitsteams, Einbringen von technischem Wissen in Projekten und Unterstützung von Kollegen bei der Anwendung von Prozessen und Tools.

• Beitrag in Diskussionen bezgl. IP und «Freedom-to-Operate» Berichten

Ihre Anforderungen:

• Masterabschluss FH oder ETH in Mechatronik oder ähnlichem Bereich

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in SPS-Programmierung

• Arbeitserfahrung im Umfeld von industrieller Automation

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit externen Entwicklungspartnern

• Kenntnisse in Matlab/Simulink und Regelungstechnik sind von Vorteil

• Lösungsorientiert und ausgeprägte schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeit

• Erfahrung als Projektleiter

• Fliessend in Deutsch und Englisch

Job description

In this role you will be responsible for development of electrical and mechatronic components used in turbocharger applications, in the "mechatronics and sensors" engineering team in Baden, Switzerland.
Reporting to the Manager of Mechatronics and Sensors, you will contribute to developments and maintenance of the product portfolio.

Your responsibilities:

• Development, specification and qualification of mechatronics components with focus control elements for turbomachinery incl. software

• Close Collaboration with external suppliers, development and manufacturing partners

• Backoffice support for field commissioning of control units

•  Monitoring technology developments and identifying technical drivers for R&D projects 

• Participating in working teams, disseminating technical/scientific knowledge in projects, and assisting colleagues in applying processes and tools

• Contributing to discussions of intellectual property and developing project clearance reports

Your background:

• A Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or similar field

• Sound knowledge in PLC programming

• Working experience in industrial automation domain

• Experienced in dealing with external development partners

• Knowledge in Matlab/Simulink and closed-loop control is beneficial

• A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

• Project management skills

• Fluent in German and English
