- Independently develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for end-to-end automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure software reliability.
- Analyse test results, identify trends and anomalies, and communicate findings to the development team.
- Educate and train other team members in testing methodologies and collaborate closely with Product Owners.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance product quality.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality, and maintain/improve automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Solve real-world problems using a data-driven approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer (3+ years).
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience working with automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript or .NET.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) as well as cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
- Proficient in English; German is a welcome plus.
