R&D Engineer - MOV 80-100% (f/m/d)
In our R&D department in our Surge Arrester factory in Wettingen, we are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated R&D Engineer to strengthen our team in the area of metal oxide varistor technology for surge arresters.
Your responsibilities
Ownership of varistor technology including material, processing and characterization
Lead and contribute to R&D projects with planning, execution, analyses and documentation of experiments - both in lab and production scale
Participation in the transfer of new recipes and new manufacturing processes to the factories
Write tutorial, guidelines, test procedures and reports
Your background
University degree in material science, chemistry or physics
Know-how in laboratory work and production processes of ceramics preferred
At least 6 months of experience in varistor and metal oxide technology for the electrical industry of advantage
Team spirit with the capacity to work independently complemented by well-developed analytical skills
Openness for new challenges and interest to learn and develop
Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
This opportunity is limited for 2 years.
