Data Warehouse & Power BI Engineer | Agidens
As a Data Warehouse & Power BI Engineer, you play a crucial role in developing and managing the database infrastructure and creating powerful reporting solutions using Power BI. You will work closely with ICT, the controlling team and other departments to provide data-driven insights and improve operational efficiency.
What will you do?
- Designing, selecting, building and maintaining a Data Warehouse.
- Writing efficient SQL queries and procedures to extract, transform and load data (ETL).
- Creating interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (front-end development).
- Collaborate with the controlling team & other business leads, to understand and translate data needs into technical solutions.
- Optimising performance and data integrity
- Synchronising data across systems via tooling.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of our reporting.
- Conduct training, share best practices and provide technical support
- Synchronising data with scripting and PowerShell
- Design and maintain databases with SQL
- Continue to learn and keep abreast of new developments in SQL and Power BI.
Who are you?
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a SQL Developer, with knowledge of database design and development.
- Strong skills in writing SQL queries and procedures.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well together in a team.
- Proactive and eager to learn, willing to learn new technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure Functions, webhooks, PNP provisioning, Powershell and more.
- Knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python or PHP and modern frontend frameworks (Angular,…).
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
