Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Engineer
As one of the premier suppliers to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) engineer with knowledge of Okta workflows to work in a small and highly experienced business facing team on a contract basis to help onboard new customers.
This is an initial contract running for 12+ months with strong likelihood to extend on a long term basis (up to max five years) based on the project road maps, with start date ASAP.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of Okta and Azure AD systems as an experienced CIAM Engineer on our Digital Product team. Your role will involve solving technical issues, designing applications, and collaborating with agile teams.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
â?¢ Analyse business requirements and align them into information technologies with best practices.
â?¢ Closely collaborate with infrastructure admins, developers, business analysts, business users and the implementation team to ensure that the requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
â?¢ Participate and actively contribute to design discussions with implementation partners.
â?¢ Take care of configuration changes and customisation of Okta product as per the business needs.
â?¢ Implement system / data integrations between Okta and other in-house business applications.
â?¢ Configure the Okta platform workflows.
â?¢ Design and implement CIAM project CI/CD pipelines.
â?¢ Support training materials preparation activities.
â?¢ Contribute to business process optimization and system enhancements
â?¢ Actively contribute to the agile delivery of the implementation team
â?¢ Design and implement application-level security configurations
â?¢ Develop and document CIAM engineering patterns and guidelines.
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
â?¢ Around 4-5 years of experience working in IT out of which around 3 years of experience working with Okta as an Engineer.
â?¢ Experience in creating customizations and workflows in Okta and working on integration/onboarding of new applications.
â?¢ Hands-on experience with CIAM project implementation.
â?¢ Fluency in English
The following is nice to have:
â?¢ Knowledge and experience with Azure AD (including B2B users).
â?¢ Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft technologies (e.g. SharePoint Online, GitHub, Azure PaaS services etcâ?¦),
â?¢ Certificates in Okta or Azure AD would be an advantage.
â?¢ Knowledge of Azure PaaS services would be an advantage.
â?¢ Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET would be an advantage.
â?¢ Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform would be an advantage.
Please note interviews would be conducted via video call (max two rounds), however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
