Customer Account Coordinator (6-month Co-Op)
EF Education First is proud to offer a Cooperative Education Program (co-op) in partnership with a student’s college or university, giving students the opportunity to align their academic and future career goals with full time or part time work experience for a select period of time.
EF is currently offering a multitude of co-ops across our travel, language, and education businesses in sales, customer service, operations, finance, and marketing.
Customer Account Coordinator Co-Op

Hybrid – 2 days remote

Join us at EF Educational Tours as we revolutionize the educational travel industry and transform students into the next generation of global citizens. As a Customer Account Coordinator Co-Op, you are part of the team who acts as a primary resource for parents as they navigate the process of sending their middle and high school students abroad. You will assist in all aspects of the customer life cycle and communicate weekly with Traveler Support, Sales, and Finance. Our fast-paced work environment pushes you to learn quickly, adapt often, improve processes wherever necessary, and juggle multiple priorities at once.
What You’ll Do
- Manage account maintenance for our travelers by processing checks, paper enrollments, and validating cross-product travel vouchers.
- Work with our Finance team to process weekly check refunds.
- Handle post-tour reimbursement requests for any services that were not provided on-tour.
- Reach out to customers via phone, text, and email to collect outstanding balances as needed.
- Set correct expectations for Sales and other internal teams heading into peak season through email and Teams communication.
- Think creatively about day-to-day tasks and present new ways to optimize and simplify existing processes.
- Be willing to enthusiastically take on new projects at any time.
