Our focus is to maintain the airworthiness and safety of SWISS’ engine fleet in compliance with regulatory requirements. We meticulously do so, while striving to continuously optimize the reliability and cost-effective operation of our engines fleets by properly managing its technical standard.
- Ensures compliance of engine systems and associated components with continuing airworthiness requirements issued by Type certificate holder and airworthiness authorities
- Assesses / defines maintenance requirements and Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness
- Analyses Engine reliability trends and develops corrective actions
- Assesses / proposes technical upgrades and modifications to improve Engine reliability and to optimize maintenance and lifecycle costs
- Supports / conducts technical investigations related to Engines
- Works closely with Lufthansa Group (Group Engine Management) engine specialists to support on over-arching fleet management tasks
We are looking for a new colleague with a strong passion for commercial aviation, ideally with some years of experience in CAMO/MRO Engineering and engine know-how. Additionally, a strong sense of responsibility and duty fulfilment is particularly important to us, as we work in a HRO environment.
- Higher educational degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or electrical engineering or completed vocational training coupled with several years of professional experience and HF-Degree in aviation industry
- Knowledge of Engine systems and their regulatory environment
- Familiar to work self-organized in an interdisciplinary environment
- Persuasive verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Able to always work accurately and reliably even under time pressure
- Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented thinking, initiative-taking attitude
- Capable to deal with rapidly changing conditions and circumstances
- Fluency in English, German fluency
- Business acumen and knowledge in business economics
