Position: Application Engineer
Location: Zurich Region
Overview:
We are recruiting for an Application Engineer for our client based in the Zurich region. The company is a large Automotive Engineering Group who are a market leader in their field.
Based in the European HQ this position will manage many projects and customisations working closely with the commercial teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Application engineer to progress and develop your career rapidly in this fast expanding international group.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reporting to the Head of Engineering
- Managing many projects including development of concepts
- Implementation of customised solutions for clients both individual applications and complete systems
- Detailing engineering plans and processes
- Providing ongoing support to sales, commercial, project management and delivery teams
- Lead commissioning and testing processes
- Key member of the global Engineering team
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or similar in Engineering related subject
- At least 3 years Engineering experience
- Prior experience as an Application Engineer and working with customers and internal commercial / project management teams
- Used to working in an international and dynamic environment
- Speaks fluent German and English – additional languages an advantage
- Able to work well in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Great communication and presentation skills
