Consultant Sustainability & Climate Change (Associate / Senior Associate)
• You work in a varied, international, and demanding client environment.
• You support the team in all areas of consulting and auditing on topics of comprehensive corporate responsibility.
• You use your previous experience in a constantly changing and therefore exciting area of work in the field of sustainability: social and nature impacts, climate change
• You evolve with the requirements of clients and their expectations with the aim of creating added value from our consultancy work.
• You use and deepen your professional, technical and project-oriented knowledge within the framework of client mandates and internal projects.
• You work in an interdisciplinary team which is living the "sustainability spirit" and have access to development opportunities.
• You want to impact how businesses become more sustainable.
• You shape your long-term career goals and develop professionally and personally through on and off-the-job training. For this, you will be coached by experienced managers.
• You have completed your studies in engineering, natural sciences, or economics, preferably with a focus on sustainability or environmental sciences.
• You understand Social and Environmental impacts/risks. You have notions of non-financial reporting regulations
• You have 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of sustainability and ideally you have already gained experience in consulting.
• Notions of sustainable value chain and supply chain operations
• You might have an understanding of, or you have had professional roles that include exposure to value chains. You have knowledge of Due Diligence processes (EUDR, CSDDD, DDTrO). You have knowledge of non-financial reporting (Art. 946 CO, CSRD)
• You might have a direct connection to sustainability, supported by strategic but also technical expertise (e.g. social impacts, or digital value chain due diligence solutions).
• You have very good analytical skills, a strong quantitative understanding of numbers and recognise complex inter-relationships.
• You are a team player and at the same time interested in independently driving forward tasks and responsibilities.
• You might have already gained international experience with different cultural environments.
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French and/ or German is advantageous.
• You are motivated to continuously develop yourself and have the flexibility and mobility required in the consulting environment to round off your profile.
