About the Role: We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant with expertise in application management and solution architecture for our manufacturing site. This role demands a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, governance, and service management, coupled with strong analytical skills and project management experience. As part of the IT CoE Operations (Center of Excellence for Operations and Quality), you will support multiple initiatives and report directly to the CoE Operations IT Strategy Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure and Governance:

    • Manage and optimize IT/OT/infrastructure technologies for pharmaceutical manufacturing sites.
    • Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
  • Application Management and Solution Architecture:

    • Serve as an application manager, system owner, and solution architect.
    • Define and converge IT/OT operating models.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of IT technologies.
  • Project Management and Strategy:

    • Support multiple initiatives within IT CoE Operations.
    • Engage in project management activities to ensure timely and successful delivery.
    • Collaborate with the IT Strategy Lead to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Maintain strong knowledge of regulated environments, GxP, CSV, and change control processes.
    • Ensure all IT solutions comply with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively to engage and influence cross-functional teams.
    • Work collaboratively to adapt to changing business needs and IT landscapes.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement in IT processes and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, consulting, or a related role.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing IT technologies.
    • Strong experience in managing IT/OT/infrastructure technologies for pharmaceutical manufacturing sites.
    • Experience with IT/OT operating model definitions and convergence.
    • Global roles/consultancy roles experience preferred.
  • Language Skills:

    • Business fluent in English.
    • Proficiency in German preferred.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, governance, and service management frameworks.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Project management experience.
  • Interpersonal Skills:

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility:

    • Adaptability to changing business needs and evolving IT landscapes.
This role will be fully remote with candidates ideally within 2 hours of Swiss time.
