How you can make a difference:

  • Responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER

  • Responsible for the overall consolidation process and review of inter-company transactions and profit eliminations, ownership of the consolidated trial balance

  • Coordinate, manage, and support monthly/annual consolidation close activities for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness

  • Participate in the implementation / maintenance / upgrade of financial consolidation and reporting systems to ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and management requirements

  • Work with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance with Swiss GAAP FER

  • Involved in identifying, documenting, and implementing changes to Group reporting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP FER requirements

  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive accounting manuals that outline company policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with Swiss GAAP FER

  • Develop and update the preparation of notes to the financial statements for the annual report

  • Manage and support external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing necessary documentation and explanations

That's what you bring along:

  • You are an accountant or have a comparable qualification and at least 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in medium to large-sized companies
  • Great knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and taxation
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Proficient in working with ERP systems ideally Microsoft D365
  • Great English communication skills (written & spoken)
  • You are used to working independently, but at the same time you are a team player and can convince with your communication skills. You are also resilient and flexible
