Community Lead, Innovator Community, Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Korean Speaking)

Why We Are Recruiting
We are expanding the Innovator Team, which oversees the Forum’s start-up communities. This role is part of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), which helps leaders anticipate technological advancements and drive responsible sectoral and industry transformation. The C4IR also operates a global network of government and non-profit-hosted regional centers, providing a trusted platform for sharing insights, learning, and collaborative problem-solving.
The Community Lead will play a key role in piloting a new start-up-focused program for the newly launched government-hosted center in Korea and managing community activities within the Innovator Team.
Reporting Lines and Interactions
The Community Lead will report to the Head of Innovator Communities and collaborate with key stakeholders across the Forum, including other Innovator Community Leads, colleagues from the C4IR network, the regional Asia team, and other thematic centers.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with various external stakeholders, including businesses, governments, civil society, and international organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development: Co-develop a start-up-focused program in partnership with the newly established Korean C4IR.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for C4IR Korea, manage coordination with Forum colleagues, and build connections within the broader Innovator community.
- Project Delivery: Support the implementation of the collaboratively developed program.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging networks and expertise to support partnership development.
- Community Engagement: Help deliver community activities for the broader Innovator communities.
Preferred Requirements and Experience
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in partner engagement, stakeholder management, business, or strategy consulting.
- A proactive, collaborative, and creative team player with a strong commitment to supporting the Innovator communities.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage strategic relationships and work effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Experience fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders and facilitating multi-stakeholder partnerships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean.
