We are seeking to fill the following position at our Executive Office in Bern

Communication Assistant 50-60%

What you can achieve:

  • Assist the communication team in its activities by preparing all types of meetings, reports, documents, publications, and presentations
  • Organise internal and external meetings and events
  • Provide general administrative support and coordination to all operational communication activities and channels (e.g. websites, newsletters, social media, …) in accordance with SCTO processes and strategy
  • Analyse the SCTO's communication metrics (Google Analytics, Mailchimp, …)
  • Be involved in the general administrative support and tasks of the SCTO as assigned

Who you are:

  • Administrative assistant, communication/marketing professional or someone with a completed professional training, preferably with experience in a relevant field (e.g. executive support, communication, marketing, public affairs)
  • Excellent general administrative, coordination and organisation skills (project management experience a plus)
  • Good capacity for handling multitasking, involving many partners
  • Sense of professional responsibility and service
  • Motivated, flexible, collaborative
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English (level B2). Mother-tongue level skills in French or German, with knowledge of another national language preferred
  • Good knowledge of IT and content management systems; advanced skills would be a plus (e.g. Word, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign …).
