Are you ready to be part of something bigger as a civil engineer within Hydropower planning?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential hydropower projects, evaluating technical, economic, and environmental factors.
- Participate in the design of civil structures for hydropower plants, including dams, intakes, tunnels, penstocks, and powerhouses.
- Analyze hydrological and geotechnical data to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to ensure a comprehensive project approach.
- Prepare technical documents, drawings, and reports.
- Manage project timelines and budgets.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydropower planning and design
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, hydrology, and geotechnical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
