As CHF Fixed Income Market Maker/Trader at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are an ambitious individual who is seeking to contribute to the Bank's success and provide profit oriented liquidity to the CHF Secondary Bond Market as a Trader.
- Contribute profit to the CHF bond value chain
- Provide liquidity to the CHF secondary bond market
- Monitor and manage risk of the CHF trading book
- Maintain the close collaboration with CHF DCM, Syndicate and Sales teams
- Monitor market developments closely and and react quickly to changes
- Proactively implement trading ideas and be a contact person in CHF Bond Market for internal stakeholders
- Adhering to all the relevant Rules & Regulations as well as internal guidelines/Directives and be up to date with all the relevant regulatory developments in the Trading area
- Completed apprenticeship in the banking area and/or higher education (university/FH) in Economics or Mathematics
- At least 2 years of practical experience in the field of Bond Trading as Market Maker
- SIX Trader License, Eurex Trading License and good knowledge of CHF Bond Market and interest rate derivatives
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills as well as experience with Order Management Systems
- Willingness to take responsibility as well as hands-on mentality
- Capability to work independently
- Fluency in German & English, fluency in French is a plus
