Cash/Liquidity Team Leader
Zentiva is a Pan-European Generic Pharmaceutical Group selling in over 40 markets and with 4 manufacturing sites. The Group generates revenues of approximately €1.3 bn. Zentiva Group with consistent growth on top and bottom line in recent years. Zentiva Group places great importance on its cash generation. Meeting the company’s cash targets will allow the company to invest further in future growth and our purpose of bringing more high quality, affordable medicines to patients who need them.
This key role in our new Global Business Support function will drive liquidity forecasting and the automation of this process ultimately to ensure a monthly cash landing in line with our targets. This role will also manage essential processes to ensure our payment procedures are set up appropriately and efficiently.
Core responsibilities:
- Drive and improve Zentiva Group liquidity forecasting to ensure full visibility of cash position of the Group for the following 10 weeks
- Coordinate weekly submissions and review of forecasts from all Zentiva affiliate companies
- Automation of processes to ensure most up to date data incorporated into liquidity forecast including links to SAP ERP system where possible/appropriate
- Provide guidance for projected monthly cash landing position including main drivers for variances to Cash flow Forecast/Budget
- Suggest required action to meet appropriate month end landing position
- Line management of Treasury AP/payments specialist and Group AR/Factoring specialist
- Handles escalations from the team and resolve complex issues and address critical topics
- Coach team members on delivering high quality Accounts Receivable service
- Define key tracking measures for liquidity forecast performance and track on weekly basis with follow up on improvements to process
- Ensure a robust AP process to maintain discipline on payments, ensuring
- Responsibility for group treasury payments interface (allmybanks) maintain the system and potential upgrades if required
- Resolve complex issues using professional judgment and business expertise
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in cash management/treasury operations with prior experience and responsibility for liquidity forecasting
- Experience in managing small team of specialists
- Prior experience in working with treasury/banking tools and ERP systems (SAP)
- Treasury/cash management certification desirable
- Full professional proficiency in English is required
