TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and drive the vision for embedded software (including Real-time, CNC, HMI, and connectivity), focusing on standardization, configurability, cost reduction, and faster time to market.
- Evaluate current software capabilities and apply advanced computer science principles to shape future development strategies.
- Lead and transform the team towards a resilient, agile development environment.
- Oversee the cluster team to meet goals and timelines, employing methodologies such as Scrum, DevOps, and Kanban and AGILE.
- Promote a positive, innovative work culture with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
- Facilitate ongoing training and development to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technology trends.
- Manage recruitment and performance reviews for the team.
- Supervise daily operations to ensure software solutions align with business goals.
- Track and report on team progress and performance, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet business requirements.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Must: experience in industrial field
- Experience: Expertise in software architecture, development processes, and leading technical teams
- Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian, German, or French is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, an innovative and proactive approach, the ability to handle stress, and the capability to drive change and manage creative processes.
