Job Description: We are looking for an on-call chef for a private family residing in Cologny. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing a variety of French, Italian dishes, BBQ, and canapés for groups ranging from 6 to 12 people.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and cooking of diverse meals including French, Italian dishes, BBQ, and canapés as per the family's needs and preferences
- Menu planning in coordination with family members
- Sourcing fresh and high-quality ingredients
- Adherence to food hygiene and safety standards
- Flexibility to work on-call based on family events and gatherings
- Possession of a European/Swiss passport or valid Swiss work permit
- Previous experience as a private chef, preferably in a family or similar environment
- Ability to cook for groups of 6 to 12 people
- In-depth knowledge of French and Italian cuisine, as well as BBQ techniques
- Ability to prepare canapés and other appetizers
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage menus and sourcing
- Flexible schedule and availability on-call as per family needs
- On-call contract based on family needs
