Business Analyst / Project Manager – Trading
One of our major clients in Zürich, Switzerland is currently looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager â?? Trading to join a contracting opportunity of (at least) 9 months.
In this role, you act as a business analyst and project manager in the redesign / implementation of market making, trade position management, life-cycle management, risk management and trade booking systems.
Main tasks:
â?¢ Analyzing and documenting existing processes and workflows, and proposing changes aligned with IT architectural updates
â?¢ Writing features and user stories in collaboration with product owners, management, and business stakeholders
â?¢ Translating business stories into technical tasks and specifications with technical stakeholders
â?¢ Conducting interface analysis and specifications in coordination with IT stakeholders
â?¢ Planning, executing, and tracking the implementation of stories and tasks, providing hands-on support
â?¢ Testing, controlling, and documenting the implementation process, and aligning results with business stakeholders
Your profile:
â?¢ 8+ years of experience in the trading area as a process manager, product owner or a similar role, ideally working closely with traders on a trading floor
â?¢ In-depth knowledge of one or more trading asset classes (Equities, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Interest Derivatives, and Structured Products)
â?¢ Proven experience in redesigning, implementing, and integrating trading, position, risk, and market-making systems on the trading floor, including experience with sales applications
â?¢ Experience in managing backlogs, user stories, along with familiarity with agile methodologies, including knowledge of product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro
â?¢ University degree in finance, economics, or a related field
â?¢ Language skills: English business fluent (German would be a nice to have)
Soft skills:
â?¢ Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
â?¢ Ability to quickly understand big-picture topics while maintaining attention to detail in technical specifications and interface definitions
Work from home: 2 days per week from within Switzerland
