Position Summary
The Brand Lead International is responsible for leading the development of strategies and tactics for the International Precision Oncology business, reporting to the Senior Director International Marketing. This role will oversee the development and execution of strategic plans in partnership with cross-functional and local marketing teams. Leveraging significant global marketing experience, the Brand Lead will drive data-driven decisions through in-depth business performance tracking and market analytics, participating in operational planning and leading tactical initiatives across multiple channels.
The Brand Lead is a key member of the International Marketing and cross-functional Brand Team, with a demonstrated track record of successful brand management and exceeding performance expectations.
Location: Zug, Switzerland.
Essential Duties
The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead the development of the operational and tactical annual plan for the brand, collaborating with marketing colleagues in the US, International, and country-specific teams, as well as stakeholders within the international Brand Team.
- Support the alignment on marketing strategy, product positioning, messaging, and plans with Country Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive the evolution of brand campaigns, utilizing experience in overseeing brand strategy, positioning, and creative development across international markets.
- Lead the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns and communication strategies, ensuring integration into all promotional assets.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to gain a deeper understanding of market and customer needs, applying advanced business analytics and forecasting experience.
- Manage relationships with various external groups, including service vendors, agency partners, and key organizations, ensuring seamless collaboration across international teams.
- Ensure coordinated efforts for field force training, partnering with the Commercial Excellence team and Country/Sales Managers.
- Collaborate with the Global Precision Oncology team to shape product strategies, including Life Cycle Management (LCM) planning and regular performance reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, with a proven track record of leading teams.
- Successful brand management in the US and Global.
- Fluent in English, with additional proficiency in another European language preferred.
- Extensive experience working in oncology or oncology diagnostics, including leadership roles in biotechnology companies.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other departments and stakeholders, driving collaboration and performance in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and experienced in using business analytics tools to drive strategic decisions.
- Strong project management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and weekend travel.
