Bioprocess Engineer at leading biopharma multinational
On behalf of our client, a leading international biotechnology company based in Visp, Swisslinx is looking for a Bioprocess Engineer. If this is you, you will be responsible for manufacturing execution with regard to safety, quality standards, and on-time-in-full delivery for your assigned projects.

Duration - 9 months
Your mission:
â?¢ Represent Manufacturing in CAPEX projects, providing input for the setup, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing suites and equipment, including automation.
â?¢ Prepare, support, and/or execute risk assessments in SHE, EM, Operations, and Cleaning for assigned products.
â?¢ Create training documents and provide training to production staff.
â?¢ Oversee production campaigns, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery standards, including evaluating test results, troubleshooting equipment issues, and recommending solutions.
â?¢ Ensure timely and high-quality preparation, creation, modification, optimization, control, and review of production documentation (e.g., Recipes, EBRs, SOPs) per local procedures.
â?¢ Represent the department during customer audits and visits.
â?¢ Prepare and review quality records, including change requests, deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.
â?¢ Collaborate with the MSAT group to improve process robustness and routine manufacturing practices.
â?¢ Provide operational expertise to meet business needs and offer cross-functional support.
â?¢ Work with other departments to resolve work orders, preventative maintenance, QC, and documentation issues before production begins.
â?¢ Lead efforts to continuously improve manufacturing operations both technically and operationally.
â?¢ Act as the SME for the area, liaising with vendors and suppliers as needed.
â?¢ Support and facilitate tier accountability meetings as required.
â?¢ Be available for on-call service outside regular working hours, supporting troubleshooting and Pikett.
Your background:
â?¢ 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
â?¢ Bachelorâ??s Degree in Science or Technical field.
â?¢ English mandatory / German a real plus
