Associate Expert or Expert Science & Technology (Analytical Lab Technician) (f/m/d) - 100%

The position is within the Global Technical R&D department. Chemical & Analytical Development plays an essential role in the development of processes for manufacturing and analysis of complex small molecule drug substances from the time it leaves the discovery laboratory until it is handed over to Commercial Production. In this position you will play an important role in developing chemical synthetic processes for the manufacture of our future drugs substances.

We are looking for a highly motivated laboratory expert with the focus on development and optimization of analytical methods to control and monitor chemical manufacturing processes and products.

You will plan and perform development of analytical methods in a non-GMP environment. In this you will be also utilizing obtained analytical methods to generate data on development samples and prepare the method for transfer to a GMP lab. The focus of this position is on Mixed Modality technologies such as Radioligand Therapies, Antibody Drug Conjugates and Oligonucleotides.

A key activity includes also the maintenance all relevant lab infrastructure and supports order and housekeeping of chemicals and reagents required.

Your profile

  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship (focus analytics). Position is also open for BSc or MSc
  • 1-2 years of experience in method development of analytical methods in a relevant environment
  • Proven knowledge of relevant analytical technologies, such as HPLC/UHPLC including hyphenation with CAD, QTOF and other MS based detection. Further knowledge in GC/HS-GC, KF and other titrations systems etc. is desirable
  • Proven experience in analysis of Mixed Modalities such as ADCs, peptides, Radioligand Therapy or Oligonucleotides desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of software and computer tools such as Office package, chromatography data-evaluation software (e.g. Chromeleon)
  • Independent and self-motivated workstyle
  • Good documentation skills required during execution of experiments and documentation of results
  • Adequate knowledge of English language is required (oral and written), German and other language skills are beneficial
